Kale Moody
I grew up in Belmont, MS and attended the Liberty Church of Christ with my family. When I was 14 years old, we sang “O Why Not Tonight” as the invitation song, and I was convicted during that song to come forward and put on Christ in baptism.
I went to college at North East Mississippi Community College and then to Mississippi State University, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering in 2003. I married my wonderful wife, Samantha, in 2005 and Starkville has been our home ever since then. We have three children: Will, Molly, and Claire.
Growing up, I always appreciated my Bible class teachers. Several of them had a big influence on my life. Before becoming an elder, I served as a Bible Class teacher for children and adults for 15 years. I served as a deacon in the education ministry as well as other notable programs. I became an elder in 2023, and I look forward to what God has in store for me and for the Starkville Church of Christ.

Romans 12:1-2 NIV "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will."
